Product Description
Halogen floodlights are also known as quartz or tungsten floodlights. These lamps are more advanced versions of incandescent bulbs. Unlike a standard tungsten bulb, the filament in a halogen bulb is made of ductile tungsten, and the gas in halogen bulbs is at a higher pressure (7-8.5 ATM). Fused quartz, silicon-rich glass, or aluminosilicate is used for the glass bulb. Because this glass bulb contains high pressure, it is more durable than ordinary glass. This lamps compact size and high-lumen output have made it an industry standard for lighting work areas and film and television productions.
